Needle Factory

Needle Factory is one of the best things to happen to music ever, having started as very witch house Freddy Morgendorffer has gone into something that sounds somewhere between Deadstar Assembly, Merzbow, Prodigy and the best fucking EBM you've ever heard.
And trust me that's a fucking potent mixture!
This track is a cover of Warm Leatherette, being the first of his stuff I've listened to since his change in musical direction I'm bloody impressed, yes it's sad he's moved away from Witch House and yeh it does feel like someone who could possibly be the next oOoOO has been taken from us but still after listening to his ep you can see it's fucking worth it. And of course, he's a lot better at this whole industrial thing than his Witch House stuff and that's not to say his witch house is in ANY WAY bad, he's just obviously more into doing industrial.

I look forward to hearing more from Mister Morgendorffer in the future, whether he carries on like this or comes back to the coven; because either way it's going to be fucking fantastic.

The Figurative Theatre

The Figurative Theatre is the newest Dark Alternative club to hit Norwich, formed from the remnants of 'The Belfry' which was formed by Jon [Thegoth], you may also know him as 'Shadowofseven' the Witch House artist as well as Mr Manager of WH LND.
The Figurative Theatre wants to reach a larger audience than just Goffs, we want to extend our reach out to metal, ebm, experimental electronica (Specifically witch house) as well as a large focus on 80's new wave.
To the left you shall see a draft flyer I made for the night, as well as the logo I made for, as you can see I'm also one of the DJs.
For the night there are two resident DJs, which is me (Witchstar if you didn't work it out) and DJ Azrael (Who is about the goffiest person I know).
We plan to work with bands form plenty of different genres and really get the music... OUT THERE.
I will also be playing quite often at these events under the name 'Project Narcissus', please feel free to join our facebook group here-http://www.facebook.com/groups/PandoraDA/ to keep up to date with our shindigs.
If you're local, like music- Especially goth rock, electro and witch house, you have NO excuse.

No onez gotz style like a WIK▲N

So far the only Witch House act I've seen live is WIK▲N and my my was I impressed it, it really stands out as a gig a step up above the rest.
The beats, snares and claps sounds amazing in through some bitchin' speakers and oh my... the
bass!

Here's a video of one of his upcoming tracks 'Gucci Bitches', look out for me flailing the fuck about :)
(Yes, it's true I only posted this because I wanted to post this track. SOOOO GURDDD.)

W0LCNUM

Oscar Robinson who has recently released as EP on Aural Sects called 'The Sickness' and has since been making even greater tracks. Throughout all his music you can hear a heavy Black Metal influence, you can feel terror sinking into your bones but what is specifically great about his newer work is how it seems to be the love child of Peach Black and Harsh EBM/ Aggrotech artists, the name which specifically jumps into my head is Nachtmahr. Of course there are other artists that take an EBM and Black Metal sound to Witch House (Some of Pet Cemetery's work for example and an artist called 'Needle Factory' to name a couple) but what Oscar has done with his music is bring in that same feeling of dread that you get when you listen to Aggrotech and put it into the format of a Witch House track.
Plus Oscar has put an impressive amount of work out in the last month, and each track is really tight and holds together incredibly well... This music is by someone who really tries with each track and really has an idea of what they want to create.
(Also, if you haven't listened to Needle Factory, do that now too after listening to EVERYTHING by W0LCNUM.)

Marie Dior 7

http://auralsects.bandcamp.com/album/7

In the world of Witch House, everyone has their own particular style and influences and when you listen to just a few artists this becomes obvious...
This is also true with Marie Dior, 7 brings us something that is creepy and intense but not just through pointless atmospheric soundscapes which seems to be a default, but through a feeling of instability, edginess, hypnotic drumming, gunshot snares and Gary Numan-esque synths ... And that's just in the first two tracks!
The second two tracks bring us something completely different from the rest of the EP, something that is only slightly hinted at in the first two. 'From The Rave to The Scars' and 'Nascar Classics (Death Car)' hit you harder than you could ever expect, while keeping the edginess and discomfort of the first two tracks it brings in almost Happy Hardcore style synth lines re-contextualised for a B-Movie horror for our viewing pleasure; It's everything you'd expect from a Marie Dior track, a massive fuck off zombie rave. And it's bloody good.
(Also, 'From The Rave to The Scars' sounds like a 'Roses' by White Ring meets 'Are Friends Electric' by Gary Numan... just sayin').
